You remember birthdays, grudges, and the exact tone someone used in 2019. Cancer feels everything first and explains it later, usually in the kitchen.

About Cancer

Cancer is harder to know than most signs because they're paying close attention to whether it's safe to let you in. The Moon rules here, which means the interior life is active and sometimes chaotic — emotions that arrive in waves, moods that shift with weather you can't always name. What looks like moodiness from the outside is usually sensitivity turned inward. Cancer people feel things accurately. That's useful, and occasionally exhausting, particularly for the Cancer.

Home is the center of everything, in whatever form home takes. It might be a literal house, or a person, or a sense of belonging they carry. When Cancer feels secure, they're quietly and steadily generous — the one who remembered your birthday, who made soup before you asked, who has been looking after you longer than you noticed. When they don't feel secure, they pull back, and you might not even see it happen.

Origin

In ancient Egypt, Cancer corresponded to the summer solstice around 3000 BCE — the sun was in Cancer when the Nile began to flood, the event that set the entire agricultural calendar. Babylonians called it "the crayfish." The Greeks gave it a crab and attached a story: while Heracles fought the Hydra, Hera sent a crab to bite his foot and distract him. Heracles crushed it. Hera placed it in the stars in honor of its effort. It's a story about loyalty and getting stepped on for it, which feels right.

Love

You don't date casually, you adopt people. That's a gift, but check the paperwork: not everyone you've taken in actually pays emotional rent.

Career

Teams hold together because of people like you. The quiet glue. Ask for the title that matches the work, because nobody hands it to the modest.

Health

Your stomach keeps the minutes of every meeting your mouth smiled through. Eat like you matter and let one grudge go this month. Just one.
