Capricorn
December 22 – January 19
You were forty at age twelve and you'll be thirty at sixty. Capricorn plays the long game while everyone else refreshes their feeds.
About Capricorn
Capricorn plans. Not because the future is guaranteed, but because planning is how Capricorn makes sense of the gap between where they are and where they're going. Saturn rules here, which means time is felt differently — there's an awareness of what things actually cost, including what they cost in years, that most signs acquire much later if they acquire it at all. Some Capricorns describe feeling older than their years when young, then quietly younger as they aged into what Saturn had always been asking of them.
The ambition is real, but it's not shallow. Capricorn isn't impressed by status for its own sake — they want to build something that lasts. The work ethic is sometimes used as armor against vulnerability, which is the part to watch. Getting somewhere takes sustained effort, and stopping to feel things can seem like a luxury. It isn't, and Saturn's other lesson is usually that one, eventually.
Origin
The Babylonians called this figure "the goat-fish" — a creature with a goat's body and a fish's tail, associated with the god Enki (later Ea), who ruled underground waters and wisdom. The image is strange until you know that Babylonian cosmology placed the southern sky over the primordial sea, the waters from which creation emerged. Capricorn occupied the deep winter sky in ancient times, and its association with endurance and patience goes back to those earliest models. Saturn's rulership, from Roman tradition, adds time, discipline, and the long labor it takes to build something worth keeping.

Love
You court like it's an acquisition: careful diligence, slow escalation. Hilarious and deeply loyal once secure. Let them see the funny part sooner.
Career
The mountain is the point. You'll outwork, outwait, and outlast. Just look up occasionally; some summits aren't worth the years they charge.
Health
Knees, bones, teeth: Saturn's department. Your body keeps grinding because you tell it to. Schedule rest like a board meeting or it won't happen.
